Green Pastures Camp Poem

In extension writing we had to write a poem about camp. ( In class I wrote the one about the air rifle ) This is my one about the mud run.

STUCK

Stuck!
Trying to move, but I am trapped.
Uncomfortable mud grips my skin,
Coating me from head to toe,
Knowing this camp will be great!

Picture Writing

“Hey I know that guy!” ”REALLY??” "Yeah he’s in my class at school!” "Maybe you've got him mixed up with another guy"”That’s definitely him. I came to this thing to watch a famous obstacle course but JEREMY??? COMPETING???”

The first obstacle was the spinning bridge. Jeremy handled that like he was walking across the lounge. But next, the infamous mud came. He pushed and shoved his way through it, but he never made it. The presenters were both shocked. “Sorry, all you audience have come unprepared, but one of you will have to take his place.”

The next moments of my life were a blur. But the next thing I remember I was struggling through that mud. Have you done the mud run at Camp Green Pastures? 5 times harder. If your unfit father sees someone on TV again and says “I can do that!” Correct him his time.

I was almost finished. Almost there. The crowd was cheering me on. I felt the ledge. I pulled myself up… I did it! I completed the mud! But there was still one obstacle left…

I never did it. I never made it. The presenters were both shocked. “Sorry, all you audience have come unprepared, but one of you will have to take his place.”

A small pile of Lego bricks
Lego is a building toy, which I think you have heard of before. You buy sets of interlocking bricks, and put them together to make a creation. But you can also make up your own creations, like I made a gumball machine. There are heaps of different types of Lego sets, from Lego Star Wars to Lego Technic. There is even a type where you can make robots!!! Here are some pictures of Lego designs adults made.
